  • HOW MUCH DOES GREENHOUSE INSTALLATION COST?

The price of instllation varies depending on how far our crew has to travel and the size of the greenhouse.

  • DO GREENHOUSES COME WITH A WARRANTY?

  • WILL I NEED A BUILDING PERMIT FOR A GREENHOUSE?

Greenhouses by NWGP are considered non-permanent, temporary agricultural structures and typically do not require a permit. However, we always recommend checking with your local county and HOA to confirm compliance with any specific regulations.

  • WILL THE GREENHOUSE WITHSTAND SNOW?

Sisters, Oregon, they’re built to withstand tough conditions—including wind, sleet, snow, rain, and more. You’ll find NWGP greenhouses standing strong in places like Sun Valley, ID, Alaska, North Dakota, and beyond.

  • WHY ARE THE GREENHOUSES BUILT WITH CEDAR?

Over the years, we have found that cedar is the best material when it comes to a custom greenhouse. Cedar desiccates moisture which eliminates fungal buildup.

  • WHAT SIZE GREENHOUSE DO I NEED?

All of our greenhouses are custom to you, meaning we can get the perfect greenhouse for you even in the smallest of areas. Additionally, our greenhouses are all modular! Greenhouses by NWGP truly are the greenhouses that grow with you.

  • HOW DO I MAINTAIN MY GREEN HOUSE

Our greenhouses are built to last, but like any quality structure, routine maintenance helps keep them in top shape:

Wood Frame: We use Cabot’s stain on all our cedar structures. To keep your greenhouse protected and looking its best, we recommend re-staining every few years. If you ever need your specific stain code, just reach out—we’re happy to help!

Polycarbonate Panels: Clean gently using a microfiber cloth and avoid harsh chemicals to prevent scratching. For any buildup, a light power wash setting works well.

Doors & Hinges: Because wood naturally expands and contracts with the seasons, your door may occasionally need adjusting. If it's tough to open or close, simply mortise the hinges to help it swing smoothly again.

With a little seasonal care, your NWGP greenhouse will keep growing strong for years to come.

  • HOW DO I MAINTAIN OR TEMPORARILY DISABLE MY BAYLISS VENT OPENER

If you don’t want your Bayliss vent to open, you have a couple of options:

Back off the roller pin to release tension, which will prevent the vent from activating.

Remove the piston completely if you'd prefer to disable it entirely.

You can also secure the vent with a zip tie to keep it closed during periods when ventilation isn't needed.

Always store the piston indoors if removed, especially during extreme temperatures, to extend its lifespan.
